Jon spends his days building devices for Amazon, his nights educating kids in Kenya, and weekends photographing the world's wild places. Together with his wife Caren, Jon founded The Kilgoris Project, a network of schools in western Kenya. Jon was able to combine his passion for education and consumer electronics by introducing Kindle eReaders to Maasai schools. His humanitarian and conservation photographs have been published by international organizations including The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Wall Street Journal, UNESCO, CNN and The Nature Conservancy.
